In this role, you will be responsible for defining the architectural blueprint, ensuring scalable, high-performance, and resilient systems. You will leverage 3 to 5 years of dedicated enterprise architecture experience to bridge the gap between business problems and technology solutions, specifically driving modernization via microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) within a SAFe Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and deliver robust, scalable, and secure Enterprise-grade solutions that align with long-term business strategies.

- Translate complex business requirements into detailed architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and system design documents.

- Evaluate existing monolithic legacy systems (specifically within the airline ecosystem) and define roadmap strategies for migration to modern cloud-native architectures.

- Design high-throughput, fault-tolerant integration patterns using Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), Microservices, and event-driven architectures.

- Define API strategy, governance, and integration methodologies (e.g., RESTful APIs, gRPC, GraphQL, Event Brokers like Kafka/RabbitMQ).

- Ensure seamless data exchange and connectivity across diverse, heterogeneous systems and third-party airline platforms.

- Act as a key technical leader within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) ecosystem, participating actively in Program Increment (PI) planning, System Demos, and Architecture Runways.

- Collaborate closely with Product Management, Release Train Engineers (RTEs), and engineering teams to align architectural runway with product delivery.

- Establish and enforce architectural standards, coding guidelines, and security best practices across development trains.

Required Technical Skills & Experience :

- Total Experience : 14 to 18 years in software engineering and architecture, with at least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience as a designated Enterprise/Solution Architect designing large-scale systems.

- Architecture Paradigms : Deep expertise in Microservices architecture, SOA, Domain-Driven Design (DDD), and cloud-native design patterns.

- Integration Methodologies : Strong command over Enterprise Application Integration (EAI), ESB, Message Queuing, and API Management tools.

- Domain Expertise : Proven experience architectural mapping within the Airline/Aviation domain (e.g., PSS, GDS integrations, ticketing, loyalty programs, crew management, or NDC standards) is highly desirable.

- Agile Frameworks : Strong practical experience working within SAFe Agile or other scaled agile governance models.

- Cloud & DevOps : Proficiency with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) along with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD automation pipelines.

Soft Skills & Leadership Attributes :

- Stakeholder Management : Exceptional ability to influence and negotiate with C-level executives, product owners, and engineering leads.

- Mentorship : Proven track record of guiding, mentoring, and technical upskilling of senior developers and tech leads.

- Analytical Thinking : Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguous business requirements and technical debt.

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

- Preferred Certifications : SAFe Architect, TOGAF, AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect - Professional.
