Key Responsibilities :

Solution Design & Architecture :

- Translate client SOW requirements into C4 architecture models and Business Process Canvas documentation.

- Design end-to-end solutions for finance automation workflows including reconciliations, book closure, and reporting.

- Establish architectural standards and best practices for finance domain solutions.

- Create comprehensive technical specifications for custom development initiatives.

Technical Leadership & Mentorship :

- Mentor implementation engineers on design, technical approaches, and best practices.

- Lead technical reviews and ensure solution quality across implementations.

- Provide guidance on complex technical challenges and architectural decisions.

- Foster knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the solutions team.

Platform Strategy & Development :

- Make strategic decisions on feature development vs. custom implementation.

- Collaborate with Program Managers and Platform Team to track and prioritize enhancements.

- Contribute to product roadmap discussions based on client requirements and market trends.

Client Engagement & Delivery :

- Lead technical discussions with enterprise clients during pre-sales and implementation phases.

- Design scalable solutions that align with clients technology stack and roadmap.

- Ensure solutions comply with financial regulations (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP) and industry standards.

- Drive technical aspects of complex implementations from design through go-live.

Mandatory Requirements (Must-Have Criteria) :

- Must be currently working as a Solutions Architect in Finance from a product company (fintech or enterprise software preferred).

- 8+ years experience in solution architecture with strong technical and finance exposure.

- Strong programming skills in Python, Java (or similar languages).

- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) & containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

- Deep knowledge of finance & accounting principles (Ind AS/IFRS/GAAP) and financial system integrations (ERP, GL, AP/AR).

- Expertise in system integration, API design, microservices, and C4 modeling.

- Experience in financial reconciliations, automation strategies, and regulatory compliance.

- Proven experience mentoring technical teams and driving excellence.

- Strong problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, project management, documentation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

- Certifications in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).

- Experience with finance automation platforms (Blackline, Trintech, Anaplan, etc.).

- Knowledge of machine learning applications in finance automation.

- Background in SaaS platform development and multi-tenant architectures.
