Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

The responsibilities will include, but are not limited to :

- Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.

- Design, implement, and manage robust and scalable CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools.

- Drive the migration of our infrastructure and applications from GCP to AWS, ensuring a seamless and efficient transition.

- Architect, deploy, and manage API Gateways (e.g., Kong, API Gateway) to securely expose and manage our APIs.

- Configure and maintain secure and highly available Kubernetes clusters across multiple AWS regions.

- Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

- Establish and enforce best practices for infrastructure automation, security, and monitoring.

- Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and resolve issues.

- Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application deployment issues.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend their adoption where appropriate.

- Contribute to the development and maintenance of comprehensive documentation.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor;' degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.

- 2+ years of experience in DevOps engineering role

- Strong working experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.

- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with API Gateway technologies (e.g., Kong, AWS API Gateway, Apigee).

- Extensive experience in deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters, including multi-region configurations for high availability and disaster recovery.

- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.

- Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions.

- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, or CloudWatch.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Experience 1 with security best practices in cloud environments.
