Essential Skills (Two top skills) :

- Solace Messaging

- Cloud (AWS is preferred)

- Scripting using Korn Shell Scripts, Perl, etc.

- Solace Messaging (PubSub+, Advanced Event Mesh)

- Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred)

Scripting : Korn Shell, Perl (other scripting languages a plus)

Nice to Have Skills :

- Messaging technologies : TIBCO EMS, IBM MQ, IBM ACE

- Containerization & Orchestration : EKS / Kubernetes / OpenShift

- AWS certifications (DevOps, SysOps, or Architect track)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Perform engineering, configuration, and administration activities for Solace messaging platforms.

- Work as part of the Middleware Engineering team and support related technologies like IBM MQ and IBM ACE when required.

- Architect and deploy Solace PubSub+ / Advanced Event Mesh across cloud environments.

- Define and implement event-driven strategies, leveraging Solace features such as event mesh, topic hierarchies, and dynamic routing.

- Configure Solace components (brokers, VPNs, queues, topics, client connections) for optimal performance and scalability.

- Ensure robust security, access control, and monitoring for Solace environments.

- Collaborate with development teams to integrate Solace with microservices, APIs, Kafka, JMS, MQTT, etc.

- Troubleshoot complex messaging issues including latency, throughput, and durability concerns.

- Automate infrastructure setup and monitoring using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.

- Provide best practices guidance on event modeling, governance, and topic taxonomy.

- Deliver L3 support including incident resolution and root cause analysis.

- Research new product features and perform POCs for emerging capabilities.

- Support enablement activities such as training and knowledge transfer to internal engineering and DevOps teams.

- Strong scripting experience (Korn Shell, Perl, etc.) on RedHat Linux platform.

- Demonstrate a quick learning ability, positive attitude, and teamwork with independent decision-making skills.

Educational Qualifications : Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Roles and responsibilities :

- The qualified candidate will perform engineering, configuration and other administration activities for Solace messaging. The candidate will work as a part of the Middleware Engineering team and need have willingness to learn & support IBM MQ and IBM ACE.

- This candidate will be required to work well in a team environment. He/she must possess excellent communication skills and should be able to work in a collaborative environment with ease.
