Key Focus :

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Software Testing Engineer. This role involves ensuring quality assurance and validation testing for Legrand's mobile apps and software solutions for electronic products. Based in India, the position will support the Group's requirements as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design and develop API test cases and scenarios

- Execute and automate API tests using industry-standard tools

- Identify, document, and track bugs and performance issues

- Collaborate with developers and QA teams to resolve defects

- Ensure APIs meet functional and non-functional requirements

- Analyse and report on test results, providing actionable insights

- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies

- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on API design

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and work closely with DevOps

- Ensure our products and procedures meet our safety and quality standards.

- Align the Project Leader about testing status and outcomes.

Functional Competencies :

- Strong planning and execution skills.

- Ability to visualize both micro and macro picture.

- Experience in developing and handling the team.

- Good communication and multicultural approach, good at interact with international teams.

Qualifications, Role Specific Knowledge, and Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Electronic Engineering.

- Excellent knowledge and experienced with testing methods and tracking tools (Azure DevOps or Jira by Atlassian with AIO plug-in)

- Knowledge of, and experienced with Android and iOS O.S.

- Be highly collaborative and able to work in a team-based environment.

- Good communication skills
