Job summary :

We're seeking a skilled Software Engineer - Testing to design, develop, and automate testing for scalable, high-availability APIs and microservices.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and test RESTful APIs and microservices using JavaScript and TypeScript.

- Build and maintain end-to-end automation test suites using Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber, Appium, following BDD practices.

- Contribute to test strategy, coverage, and automation frameworks for continuous integration and deployment.

- Work on GraphQL, containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes), and API gateway integrations (3Scale).

- Apply authentication and security best practices (JWT, OAuth, SSO).

- Troubleshoot issues across distributed systems, ensure service resilience and observability.

- Collaborate in an Agile environment to drive quality and delivery excellence.

Technical Skills :

- Advanced JavaScript & TypeScript for both development and test automation.

- Hands-on with automation tools: Playwright / Selenium / Cucumber / Appium.

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, debugging, monitoring, and performance tuning.

- Understanding of messaging queues and event-driven architecture (Kafka, AWS, Azure, Pushpin).

- Familiar with code quality & security tools and modern testing best practices.

Soft Skills :

- Self-driven, proactive, and collaborative problem solver.

- Ability to influence and mentor teams on technical solutions and best practices.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with exposure to senior stakeholders
