Software Tester - Manual/Automation Testing

Description :

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases based on project requirements.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across web and mobile applications.

- Identify, document, and track defects using standard bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure software quality.

- Create and maintain test plans, test scripts, and test data for new and existing features.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or Cypress.

- Participate in API testing using tools like Postman or Rest Assured.

- Conduct smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) before releases.

- Provide detailed test reports and communicate test results to stakeholders.

- Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices.

Technical Skills :

- Hands-on experience with manual testing processes and methodologies.

- Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, or Cypress.

- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured).

- Basic knowledge of SQL for database validation.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD environments.

- Familiarity with version control tools (Git) and bug tracking systems (JIRA).

- Exposure to performance testing (JMeter) is a plus.
