Software Tester - Manual/Automation Testing

Job Overview :

- Understand business requirements and prepare detailed test plans and test cases.

- Execute manual and automated test cases across web and mobile platforms.

- Identify, log, and track bugs through a defect management system.

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.

- Conduct API testing using tools like Postman.

- Collaborate closely with development, product, and QA teams for timely issue resolution.

- Provide feedback on usability, functionality, and performance of software.

- Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout the software development lifecycle.

Required Skills :

- Experience in manual testing and basic automation testing.

- Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, TestNG, or similar.

- Experience in API testing (Postman or similar).

- Basic knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Good understanding of test case design and defect lifecycle.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have :

- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages like Java or Python for test automation.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
