Rubix Wealth Advisors Private Limited is a growing wealth management startup focused on delivering disciplined, research-driven investment solutions. As part of our technology build-out, we are developing an internal CRM platform to manage client data, onboarding, investment tracking, reporting, and compliance workflows.

We are looking for a Functional Software Tester with experience in the financial services industry to ensure our CRM system is robust, compliant, and aligned with business processes.

Role Overview :

The Functional Software Tester will be responsible for testing our in-house CRM platform that tracks:

- Client onboarding and KYC details

- AUM tracking and portfolio data

- Investment transactions

- Commission and revenue tracking

- Reporting and compliance workflows

- RM dashboards and client interaction logs

- The role requires strong functional understanding of financial products and wealth management operations.

Key Responsibilities :

- Perform end-to-end functional testing of the internal CRM platform

- Understand business workflows related to wealth management and client servicing

- Prepare detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans based on BRDs

- Validate client onboarding flows, transaction entries, reports, dashboards, and compliance modules

- Conduct regression testing for new feature releases and enhancements

- Identify, log, track, and retest defects with the development team

- Support UAT with Relationship Managers and Operations teams

- Validate data accuracy, calculations, and financial reports

- Ensure CRM workflows align with compliance and regulatory requirements

- Maintain structured documentation of testing cycles

Required Skills & Experience :

- 25 years of experience in Functional / Manual Testing

- Prior experience in Financial Services, Wealth Management, Broking, NBFC, AMC, or Fintech

- Strong understanding of :

1. Client onboarding & KYC processes

2. Investment lifecycle (Equity / MF / PMS / AIF preferred)

3. Financial reporting and commission tracking

- Experience in preparing test cases and executing regression testing

- Knowledge of SDLC & STLC processes

- Familiarity with defect tracking tools (JIRA or similar)

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

- Ability to validate financial calculations and data accuracy

Good to Have :

- Previous experience in financial industries / IT companies handling financial processes.

- Experience testing CRM systems.

- Basic understanding of SQL for backend data validation.

- Exposure to API testing tools (Postman or similar).

- Understanding of compliance processes in wealth management.

Educational Qualification :

- B.E. / B.Tech / BCA / B.Sc (IT / Computer Science)
