Job Title : ETL / Data Quality Engineer (SDET)

Location : Gurgaon / Bangalore (Hybrid)

Experience : 5 to 10 Years

Job Description :

We are looking for skilled ETL / Data Quality Engineers with strong expertise in data testing, ETL validation, automation, and cloud-based data platforms.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with GCP technologies, Python/PySpark, and large-scale data validation frameworks.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute test strategies for ETL and data pipelines

- Perform data validation, regression testing, and performance testing across large datasets

- Develop automation frameworks using Python and PySpark

- Validate data pipelines hosted on GCP platforms such as BigQuery, DataProc, and Cloud Composer (Airflow)

- Create and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation

- Work closely with Data Engineering and cross-functional Agile teams

- Participate in test planning, defect tracking, reporting, and release validation

- Contribute to CI/CD implementation and automation initiatives

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience in Python & PySpark

- Strong SQL/MySQL expertise

- Hands-on experience with GCP - BigQuery, DataProc, Cloud Composer (Airflow)

- Experience in ETL / Big Data / Data Warehousing projects

- Regression & Performance Testing experience

- CI/CD and Automation Testing knowledge

- Strong understanding of STLC and Agile methodologies

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with Great Expectations / Deequ

- Understanding of Data Governance, Lineage & Observability concepts

- Exposure to distributed data systems

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- ETL QA / SDET professionals

- Data Engineers interested in Data Quality Engineering

- Production Support professionals with strong ETL and SQL expertise
