Software Test Methodology Engineer :

Experience : 3+ Years

Location : Bangalore

- Maintain technical documentation, test methodology documents, framework documentation, and knowledge repositories using Confluence.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to software testing, automation, and quality engineering.

- Provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing to other team members where required.

- Take ownership of assigned deliverables and ensure timely completion within project deadlines.

- Work independently while effectively collaborating with global and cross-functional teams.

Mandatory Skills :

Python Programming :

- Strong hands-on experience in Python programming.

- Good understanding of Python syntax, data structures, functions, modules, exception handling, file handling, and reusable code development.

- Ability to develop automation utilities and framework components using Python.

Object-Oriented Programming :

- Strong understanding and practical experience with: Classes and Objects, Inheritance, Encapsulation, Abstraction, Polymorphism, and reusable/modular code design.

- The candidate should be able to apply OOP principles while designing automation frameworks and reusable test components.

Automation Framework Development :

- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Software Test Automation / SDET.

- Hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks.

- Experience with frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, unittest, Behave, or equivalent.

- Strong understanding of framework architecture, reusable components, test data management, reporting, logging, and configuration management.

- Experience with Page Object Model, Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven, Hybrid, or similar framework approaches will be preferred.

Version Control & Change Management :

- Hands-on experience with Git and/or Bitbucket.

- Good understanding of branching, merging, pull requests, code reviews, and version management.

- Experience working with change management processes for automation frameworks and test assets.

Atlassian Tools :

- Hands-on experience with JIRA (defect tracking, task management, sprint activities, reporting), Confluence (documentation, knowledge sharing), and Bitbucket (source code management).

Testing Skills :

- Experience in Functional, Regression, Integration, System, Smoke, Sanity, and API Testing, as well as Test Case/Scenario Design, Defect Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Test Automation.
