Job description :

- The test manager is in charge of overseeing the testing team as well as collaborating with other team members such as developers, business analysts, and system admins

- To perform this role efficiently, test manager must be well-versed in testing methods while also completing the traditional management tasks

- The main responsibility of a test manager is planning, coordinating, and controlling software tests

- To do so, they must first plan and choose a test strategy that is most suitable for the current project

- Manage a team of QA specialists (5-18) including managers

- Co-ordinate with Operations Director, other Senior Development Squad Leads and Product Managers to ensure the end to end quality of solutions delivered

- To implement continuous improvements

- Ensure that squads and roles are rotated to ensure strong associate engagement

- To forecast and plan recruitment and on-boarding and be actively involved in the hiring process

- Managing a team with a diverse array of talents and responsibilities.

- Ensuring goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, quality, and team member performance.

- Strong QA and leadership

Skills are needed in these areas :

- Able to comprehend requirements and contributes towards preparing test datasets, writing and execution of the test cases incorporating aspects of localization, internationalization, security, integration testing, contract testing and migration/upgrades.

- Develops quality software (code, test scenarios and cases etc.,) according to clean code principles, Pragmatic testing

- Experience in Automation testing (Especially using Selenium, JMETER, Cycle, Postman, Powershell)

- Experience with Front-end tools for testing and automation, like Cucumber, Karma, Jenkins, webdriver IO is a huge plus. Prior experience of designing and developing test automation frameworks is a huge plus.

- Experience on Build & Performance Engineering Tools is a huge plus (Jenkins, JMeter, BlazeMeter)

- Desire to use emerging technologies such as AI and ML to increase automation and testing throughput.

- Good understanding of SQL Database

Requirement :

- 5+ years of Development Experience

- Demonstrated ability to lead, grow and mentor teams

- Bachelors degree or masters degree in business or related field.

- Relevant development in methodologies and tools, Agile, JIRA, etc.

- Strong QA skills and automation frameworks

- Experience in Warehouse Execution and Transaction systems would be highly regarded

- Proven experience managing a team.

- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

- Project Management Certification - PMP required
