Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing.

- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications.

- Execute manual test cases and document test execution results.

- Identify, log, track, and validate software defects using defect management tools.

- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to resolve defects and improve software quality.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.

- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or Swagger.

- Validate application performance, usability, compatibility, and security from a testing perspective.

- Support CI/CD pipelines by integrating automated test suites into deployment processes.

- Prepare test execution reports, quality metrics, and release readiness reports.

- Ensure adherence to testing standards, quality processes, and best practices.

Required Technical Skills:

Manual Testing:

- Functional, Integration, System, Regression, Smoke & Sanity, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

- Exploratory Testing (Good to have).

- Defect Lifecycle Management (JIRA).

Automation Testing:

- Selenium WebDriver (Mandatory).

- TestNG / JUnit, Cypress or Playwright, Appium, API Automation, Hybrid Automation Frameworks (Good to have).

- Data-Driven and Keyword-Driven Frameworks (Mandatory).

API Testing:

- Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, REST API Testing, JSON/XML Validation.

Defect & Test Management:

- JIRA (Mandatory), Azure DevOps Test Plans, SPIRA (Optional).

Preferred Skills:

- Experience testing enterprise web and mobile applications, cloud-based applications (Azure/AWS), Agile/Scrum, performance testing, and security testing concepts.

AI & Modern Testing Skills:

- Exposure to AI-assisted test case generation, AI-powered tools (e.g., Copilot, mabl), prompt engineering, and LLM-based testing assistants.
