Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Software Test Engineer with strong experience in Manual Testing within the Insurance domain, particularly Health Insurance applications. The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to eBao / InsureMO platforms and possess expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, and stakeholder communication.

The candidate will work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Project Stakeholders to ensure high-quality application delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze BRD, FSD, and functional specifications to create detailed test scenarios and test cases.

- Prepare and maintain Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM).

- Execute Functional Testing, System Integration Testing (SIT), and Regression Testing as per project timelines.

- Log, track, and retest defects using defect management tools.

- Coordinate with Developers and Business Teams for defect resolution and SLA tracking.

- Prepare test execution reports and maintain test evidence/documentation.

- Conduct walkthroughs of testing results and support stakeholder sign-offs.

- Participate in root cause analysis and troubleshooting activities.

- Prepare and manage test data with support from Business Analysts/Product Owners.

- Suggest process improvements and evaluate tools to enhance testing productivity and coverage.

- Ensure adherence to Quality Assurance standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3- 6 years of experience in Manual Testing.

- Strong experience in Insurance Application Testing.

- Good understanding of Health Insurance domain processes.

- Hands-on experience with eBao / InsureMO application testing is mandatory.

- Expertise in creating Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and RTM documents.

- Experience in defect lifecycle management and reporting.

- Basic understanding of databases such as DB2, Oracle, or MySQL.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

- Strong collaboration, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced and complex environment.

- Quick learner with strong grasping ability and attention to detail.

- Strong Quality Assurance mindset.

Preferred / Added Advantage :

- Exposure to Automation Testing using Selenium or Playwright.

- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience working in enterprise-level Insurance projects.

Educational Qualification :

- B.E / B.Tech / B.Sc / BCA / MCA in any specialization.

Preferred Candidate Profile :

- Candidates with prior Insurance product/platform testing experience.

- Candidates available to join immediately or within short notice periods will be preferred.
