Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Test Engineer with strong experience in Automotive Infotainment Systems.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on exposure to manual and automation testing, embedded test environments, and test bench/vehicle-level validation.

You will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of infotainment and driver monitoring software in an automotive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Analyze system and software requirements for Automotive Infotainment systems

- Plan, estimate, and execute test activities across different testing phases

- Design and develop functional and system-level test cases based on requirements

- Perform manual and automated testing for infotainment and embedded applications

- Develop and execute test scripts using Python or similar scripting languages

- Conduct testing on test benches and vehicles

- Set up and maintain embedded test environments

- Perform interface testing and validate hardware-software interactions

- Integrate and use programmable power supplies and oscilloscopes with test benches

- Log, track, and verify defects through resolution

- Collaborate with cross-functional and global teams to ensure quality deliverables

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- Strong understanding of Automotive Infotainment System Architecture (Software & Hardware)

- Proficiency in Python scripting for test automation

- Experience in both Manual and Automation Testing

- Experience in :

1. Test planning and test estimation

2. Embedded test environment setup

3. Test design and execution

- Strong experience in functional requirement analysis and functional test case preparation

- Hands-on experience with test automation tools for :

1. Test bench testing

2. Vehicle-level testing

- Working knowledge of interface testing

- Experience integrating programmable power supplies and oscilloscopes with test benches

- Proficient with Git or other source code version control tools

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Cabin Monitoring System (CMS) software testing

- Familiarity with AI/ML-based software testing or test automation frameworks
