Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Software Test Automation Engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in automation testing, API testing, CI/CD integration, and Agile methodologies. The candidate will work closely with developers, business analysts, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks.

- Develop automated test scripts for Web, API, and Database testing.

- Execute regression, smoke, sanity, integration, and functional test suites.

- Collaborate with developers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects.

- Participate in requirement analysis and test planning.

- Integrate automated test cases with CI/CD pipelines.

- Perform API automation using REST APIs.

- Analyze test execution reports and share quality metrics.

- Ensure adherence to QA processes and best practices.

- Mentor junior QA engineers when required.

Required Skills :

- 4-6 years of experience in Software Test Automation.

- Strong knowledge of automation tools such as :

1. Selenium WebDriver

2. Playwright or Cypress (preferred)

3. TestNG/JUnit

- Programming experience in Java or Python.

- Experience in API Testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.

- Knowledge of SQL and database validation.

- Hands-on experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.

- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira.

- Strong debugging and analytical skills.

- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in performance testing using JMeter.

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Experience working with Microservices architecture.

- Familiarity with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.

Qualification :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant automation testing certifications are an added advantage.
