We are hiring an experienced Software Test Architect for a long-term contract opportunity with one of our global automotive technology clients.

The selected candidate will be employed by our organization and deployed to work on a strategic engineering program focused on embedded software, advanced automotive systems, and scalable test automation infrastructure.

This role is best suited for professionals who are passionate about architecting Python-based automation frameworks, solving complex engineering problems, and building robust test infrastructure for embedded devices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and develop scalable Python-based test automation frameworks for embedded software testing.

- Develop reusable automation libraries and infrastructure to support end-to-end system testing.

- Design automation solutions for functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.

- Develop traceable automation covering requirements, test cases, execution, and defect management.

- Work closely with Firmware, Embedded Software, System Engineering, and Quality teams to define test strategies.

- Design and optimize HIL/SIL-based validation environments for embedded systems.

- Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Conduct code reviews and mentor engineers on Python development and automation best practices.

- Support continuous improvement of software quality through automation, metrics, and process optimization.

Mandatory Skills :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Embedded Software Testing.

- Expert-level Python programming (automation framework development).

- Strong C++ programming skills.

- Experience in architecting and developing automation frameworks from scratch.

- Embedded Systems and Embedded Linux.

- Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL).

- Docker and Kubernetes.

- Jenkins and CI/CD.

- REST API Testing.

- Shell Scripting and SSH.

- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

- Automotive Embedded Systems.

- ADAS / LiDAR / Radar / Perception Systems.

- ISO 26262, ASPICE, AUTOSAR.

- PyTest, Robot Framework, Playwright.
