1) The Role : Software/Security Engineer Cloud- Chennai

5+ years experience, Location Remote/Hybrid

Responsibilities :

- Conduct security assessments and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities in applications.

- Collaborate with development teams to remediate security flaws in the codebase, ensure that fixes are tested end to end.

- Impact analysis for the security fixes made in the development or Infra code.

- Develop and implement security testing strategies, including static and dynamic analysis.

- Stay updated with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities to proactively address potential risks.

- Create and maintain documentation related to security policies, procedures, and incident responses.

- Provide training and guidance to developers on secure coding practices.

- Participate in incident response and investigations related to security breaches.

What Were Looking For :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience in software development and security engineering.

- Experience with cloud security and DevSecOps practices.

- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and tools.

- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with SCA tools like Mend, fortify

- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., OWASP, NIST).

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
