Job Summary :

Our client is seeking a passionate and skilled Software Quality Engineer with a focus on AI-driven test automation. With 3+ years of experience in agile product teams, the ideal candidate will be hands-on with a new, intelligent testing platform to validate both digital commerce experiences and tools used by retail store associates globally. This role requires proficiency in C# and experience with frameworks like Selenium and Gherkin. You will be a key player in a global eCommerce domain, using AI and machine learning to elevate exploratory testing and test design, all while working in a collaborative, scaled agile environment.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Automation & Execution : Execute and maintain automated test suites using both an existing Selenium-based framework and an emerging AI-driven test platform. You will apply intelligent strategies to improve test coverage and efficiency.

Test Case Development : Write and maintain test cases using Gherkin syntax in C# and JavaScript, leveraging GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants to accelerate test development and improve code quality.

AI-Assisted Testing : Perform AI-assisted exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues. You will use machine learning insights to guide test focus and prioritize risk areas.

Visual Validation : Use Applitools Eyes for visual validation across responsive web and in-store digital experiences, integrating visual AI into the quality pipeline.

Omni-Channel Validation : Validate complex omni-channel workflows such as BOPIS (Buy Online, Pick-up In-Store), BORIS (Buy Online, Return In-Store), and Endless Aisle, using AI to simulate complex user journeys and edge cases.

Collaboration & Agile Practices : Work closely with developers, product owners, and fellow QEs. Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment, advocating for AI-driven testing practices across multiple scrum teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 3+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test automation, preferably in agile product teams.

- Proficiency in C# for writing and maintaining automated tests.

- Experience with Selenium, Gherkin, and BDD frameworks (SpecFlow, Cucumber).

- Familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools and techniques, including exploratory testing guided by machine learning insights.

- Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding assistants.

- Experience with visual testing tools such as Applitools Eyes.

- Strong understanding of functional, integration, and end-to-end testing in web and omni-channel retail environments.

- Ability to collaborate across multiple scrum teams within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, quality-first mindset.
