ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

Key Responsibilities :

1. Test Planning & Strategy :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing strategy for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Participate in requirement analysis to identify testing needs and ensure complete test coverage.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality benchmarks and acceptance criteria.

2. Manual Testing :

- Perform end-to-end manual testing including functional, UI, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.

- Execute test cases for ERP applications and ACM/CM modules.

- Identify, document, and track defects using tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.

- Ensure proper validation of data flows, system behaviors, and report outputs.

3. Automation Testing :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar.

- Create and execute automated test scripts for regression and functional test cycles.

- Optimize automation coverage and ensure scalability of automation frameworks.

- Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps etc.).

4. ERP & ACM/CM Knowledge :

- Perform domain-specific testing on ERP modules such as procurement, inventory, finance, HRMS, manufacturing, etc.

- Work with ACM (Access Control Management) or CM (Configuration Management) modules where preferred.

- Validate business workflows, configuration changes, and system customizations.

5. Incident Monitoring & Reporting :

- Monitor system incidents, analyze root causes, and ensure timely resolution.

- Prepare incident reports and maintain accurate documentation for all issues observed.

- Work with the support and engineering teams for issue triaging and prioritization.

6. Collaboration & Documentation :

- Coordinate with developers, product owners, BAs, and support teams to ensure smooth testing cycles.

- Document test results, maintain test metrics, and provide quality reports to stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, reviews, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 6+ years of experience in Manual & Automation Testing.

- Strong knowledge of Selenium/WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Cypress, or similar automation tools.

- Hands-on experience with ERP testing and good understanding of business processes.

- ACM or CM module knowledge (preferred).

- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Experience in incident monitoring, reporting, and root-cause analysis.

- Proficiency in test management tools like Jira, Zephyr, TestRail, etc

- Experience with SQL for data validation and backend testing.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps).

- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
