Job Title : QA Engineer

Location : Hyderabad

Work Mode : Remote, (Hybrid later)

Work shift : Monday through Friday; 1:00 10:00 CDT / 14:00 23:00 PHT

Role Description :

Ensures high-quality and efficient product delivery by performing manual and automated testing, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, collaborating with developers and DevOps, and driving continuous improvement through metrics, risk mitigation, and strong team collaboration

Responsibilities :

Testing & Quality Assurance :

- Test and automate acceptance criteria on web and mobile applications, ensuring no existing functionality is compromised

- Understand and apply performance and security testing practices

Automation & CI/CD :

- Integrate new automation scripts into the CI/CD pipeline

- Advocate for and influence developers to adopt a Shift-Left approach using automation

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Work :

- Be an active member of the Product Team

- Work with developers on unit testing and provide feedback

- Collaborate with DevOps on backend verification and validation

- Review code repositories (commits/merges) against logged bugs

Product & Domain Expertise :

- Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on existing and new features, enhancements, and applications (Tools and OneKey)

Process Improvement & Risk Management :

- Propose improvements based on metrics and KPIs

- Contribute to risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with QA and Software Engineering leadership

Leadership & Mentorship :

- Mentor and onboard new QA Engineers

- Motivate and guide the team toward successful solution delivery

- Provide candid feedback to QA leadership

Support & Administrative :

- Perform tasks as assigned by QA leadership
