Software Project Manager

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Software Project Manager with 6+ years of experience to oversee the successful delivery of software projects. This role involves managing the complete project lifecycle, ensuring timely execution, managing cross-functional teams, and maintaining the highest quality standards. You will be the bridge between clients, internal teams, and senior leadership, driving both strategic and day-to-day project execution.

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Define project scope, objectives, and success criteria

- Create detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and milestones

- Lead and manage the full project lifecycle to ensure on-time and high-quality delivery

- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, designers, and QA engineers

- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across all team members

- Provide performance feedback, mentorship, and day-to-day support to the team

- Serve as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders including clients, management, and vendors

- Align stakeholder expectations with project goals and timelines

- Deliver regular status updates, reports, and presentations

- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies

- Proactively manage issues, bottlenecks, and dependencies

- Ensure projects stay within scope, budget, and deadlines

- Ensure all deliverables meet internal and client quality standards

- Implement and advocate for project management best practices and methodologies

- Conduct post-project reviews and document key learnings

- Recommend and implement process improvements for future projects

Education & Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field

- Masters degree or PMP certification is a plus

- Minimum 6+ years in software project management or a related role

- Proven experience leading software development projects, preferably in Java/C++ environments

- Hands-on familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies

- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and multitasking abilities

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management

- Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Trello, MS Project, and working knowledge of C++ & Java projects
