About the Role:
We are looking for a passionate Backend Developer with strong expertise in Golang to join our product engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of a cutting-edge application performance monitoring product, working on cloud-native technologies, Kubernetes, and backend systems to build scalable, high-performance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Golang.
- Build scalable and reliable solutions for application performance monitoring.
- Develop and extend Kubernetes controllers and Operators using Kubebuilder or Operator SDK.
- Create and maintain Helm Charts and support Kubernetes deployments.
- Work with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Troubleshoot, optimize, and resolve production issues related to Go applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product, engineering, and DevOps teams.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code while following engineering best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile development activities.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- 24 years of experience in backend development using Golang.
- Strong programming fundamentals and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.
- Good understanding of Kubernetes architecture and core concepts.
- Experience developing Kubernetes Operators, Controllers, or Custom Resources.
- Knowledge of Kubebuilder, Operator SDK, Helm Charts, or Ansible.
- Experience with Linux administration and Bash scripting.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Strong communication, analytical, and debugging skills.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with OpenTelemetry libraries.
- Knowledge of Python or Java.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues in Go applications.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and observability tools.
