The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FORUM or other DICOM viewer platforms and will be responsible for conducting both UI and backend (BE) testing.

This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging standards, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Roles and responsibilities :

- Perform manual testing of desktop (Fat client) and web applications, ensuring quality and compliance with DICOM standards.

- Execute UI and backend tests for medical imaging software, focusing on functionality, usability, and performance.

- Test web applications across multiple browsers, including Firefox, Chrome, and Mozilla.

- Validate database operations using MySQL, including writing and executing SQL queries.

- Create, manage, and track issues in JIRA, ensuring clear communication of findings and resolutions.

- Write and execute PowerShell scripts to support automation and testing tasks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.

- Communicate testing progress, results, and challenges effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Ensure adherence to testing best practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Must-Have Skill Sets :

- FORUM Experience : Hands-on experience with FORUM or similar medical imaging software platforms.

- DICOM Knowledge : Strong understanding of DICOM standards and protocols.

- UI Testing : Proficiency in manual testing of desktop (Fat client) and web applications.

- Windows Expertise : Experience testing applications on various Windows client and server operating systems.

- Web Testing : Familiarity with testing web applications on multiple browsers (e.g., Firefox, Chrome, Mozilla).

- Database Testing : Proficiency in MySQL, including writing and executing SQL queries.

- JIRA : Ability to manage and track issues effectively using JIRA.

- PowerShell : Capability to write and execute PowerShell scripts for testing and automation.

- ISTQB Certification : Certified by the International Software Testing Qualifications Board.

- TeamCity : Experience checking logs and test results on TeamCity or similar CI tools.

- Security Testing : Knowledge of security testing, supported by certifications like OSCP, CSSLP, or CISSP.

- Performance Testing : Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Bachelors degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
