Software Engineering Manager - Mobile Applications

About the Role :

MG Techno Solutions a decade old software development and consulting company is seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager with a strong engineering background and proven expertise in leading high-performing teams across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in mobile application development, a track record of solving complex technical problems, and the ability to build scalable, high-quality solutions. Experience in the ride-hailing or mobility domain will be a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage distributed engineering teams across different time zones, fostering collaboration and accountability.

- Drive the design, development, and delivery of scalable mobile applications (iOS & Android).

- Partner with Product, Design, and other stakeholders to define technical strategy and execution plans.

- Mentor and grow engineering talent, ensuring continuous learning and career development.

- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality benchmarks.

- Oversee end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality goals are met.

- Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks, ensuring system performance and scalability.

- Champion a culture of ownership, innovation, and operational excellence.

Required Qualifications :

- 12+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong foundation in mobile application development.

- Proven track record managing remote and geographically distributed teams.

- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to architect and deliver solutions at scale.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Hands-on engineering background with the ability to engage in technical discussions.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in ride-hailing, mobility, or on-demand service platforms.

- Exposure to large-scale, high-traffic consumer mobile applications.

- Familiarity with cloud-native architectures and DevOps practices.
