Role Overview :

We are looking for a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java, Selenium, Cucumber, and performance testing tools like JMeter/BlazeMeter. The ideal candidate should have exposure to AI-assisted testing approaches/tools and a strong understanding of Agile and CI/CD practices.

The role requires proficiency across all aspects of software testing and quality engineering, including automation, manual testing, performance validation, and continuous quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

- Build and maintain scalable automated test frameworks using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber as part of CI/CD pipelines.

- Prepare and execute automated regression suites to ensure application stability, resiliency, and performance before releases.

- Review and elaborate stakeholder requirements to ensure precise and testable Acceptance Criteria.

- Design, develop, and execute repeatable QA, Acceptance, and Functional test scenarios.

- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.

- Perform usability, regression, integration, exploratory, and non-functional testing activities.

- Develop Selenium automation scripts and maintain reusable step definitions.

- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities across releases.

- Track QA metrics including defect density, defect leakage, and open defect counts.

- Conduct regular reviews of test coverage and quality processes for application development

teams.

- Collaborate with globally distributed teams across multiple regions and time zones.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, stand-ups, and code reviews.

- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance delivery efficiency and product quality.

- Work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively within collaborative teams.

- Stay updated with emerging technologies, AI-enabled testing practices, and be open to supporting non-functional testing initiatives.

Required Skills & Expertise :

- Strong hands-on experience in Java-based automation testing.

- Expertise in Selenium WebDriver and Cucumber BDD framework.

- Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter and/or BlazeMeter.

- Exposure to AI-assisted QA/testing tools or AI-driven testing methodologies.

- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, SDLC, resiliency, and security

testing concepts.

- Experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
