Software Engineer/Technical Lead - Python/Javascript

Job Title : Software Engineer / Technical Lead Healthcare Automation & Analytics

Location : Remote

Experience : 6 to 7 years

About Us :

What Youll Do :

- Lead the technical design and development of internal platforms for medical billing automation and analytics.

- Own and build tools to track

- Real-time claim status

- Denial trends

- Team productivity metrics

- Revenue forecasting

- Scrape, clean, and integrate data from :

- Payer portals, clearinghouses, PMS systems like ECW

- Google Sheets and insurance website

- Automate billing workflows such as claim submission, tracking, follow-ups

- Collaborate with CTO and manage a team of 3 junior developers

- Define and document :

- System architecture

- Design specs

- Test plans

- Security requirements

- Lay the foundation for secure, HIPAA-compliant data handling

Must-Have Skills :

- Strong experience in JavaScript, Python, HTML/CSS

- Proficient in SQL, with knowledge of Google BigQuery and/or MongoDB

- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and related APIs

- Hands-on experience scraping and parsing data from web portals and APIs

- Able to design systems that scale across multiple clinics/clients

- Ability to write unit tests, manage QA, and lead code reviews

- Strong written communication : can write clear design documents, test cases, and internal guides

- Must be able to have flexible work hours since it is a US company

Bonus Skills (Nice-to-Haves) :

- Familiarity with Apache Airflow, Prefect, or n8n

- Hands-on knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, and deployment pipelines

- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance, PHI data protection, or secure healthcare data systems

- Understanding of healthcare data standards.

Leadership & Ownership :

- Own the technology roadmap

- Set up team processes, code standards, deployment workflows

- Report directly to CTO, and work closely with operations leadership
