Role : Software Engineer - . NET (Hybrid) :

Job Summary :

VLink India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced . NET Software Engineer to develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade applications for its client, BlackRock.

The role requires strong programming skills in C# and . NET, proficiency in SQL Server, and a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with existing application architectures, translating business requirements into technical solutions, and delivering reliable software within an Agile development environment.

Experience supporting cloud-based SaaS applications and familiarity with financial services are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using C#, . NET Framework, and . NET Core.

- Analyze business requirements and user stories to create efficient, maintainable, and scalable technical solutions.

- Develop and optimize SQL queries, database objects, and data access components using Microsoft SQL Server.

- Apply data structures and algorithms to solve complex programming problems and improve application efficiency.

- Understand existing codebases and architectures, implement enhancements, and resolve technical issues without disrupting application functionality.

- Write clean, reusable, and testable code following object-oriented programming principles and established coding standards.

- Develop and execute unit tests, support integration testing, and contribute to automated testing practices.

- Participate in code reviews, debugging, root-cause analysis, and application performance improvements.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines to support build, testing, deployment, and release processes.

- Support the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based SaaS applications, including production monitoring and incident resolution.

- Collaborate with business analysts, QA engineers, and development teams to deliver software within Agile sprints.

- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development, preferably in Agile environments.

- Strong hands-on experience with - C#, . NET Framework, and . NET Core- .

- Proficiency in Microsoft Visual Studio and modern software development practices.

- Strong knowledge of - MS SQL Server- , database concepts, query writing, and performance optimization.

- Good understanding of data structures and algorithms, including arrays, stacks, queues, and related concepts.

- Strong grasp of object-oriented programming, problem-solving, debugging, and code optimization.

- Experience working with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, and user story-driven development.

- Understanding of unit testing, integration testing, and automated quality checks.

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices.

- Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and enhance existing applications and technical designs.

- Experience building, deploying, or supporting SaaS applications in cloud environments.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with VB. NET.

- Exposure to financial services, banking, investment management, or related business applications.

- Familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS and containerization tools such as Kubernetes.

- Exposure to TypeScript or related technologies used in application development.

- Experience with production monitoring, incident management, and application support.

Education :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical discipline.
