Software Engineer - Microservices Architecture

Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain back-end applications

- Strong backend engineering skills.

- Work on microservices, RESTful API integrations, and data modelling.

- Understanding of authentication and middleware.

- Ensure system scalability, reliability, and performance under high traffic.

- Collaborate with managers, QA, front-end and mobile developers for seamless API integration.

Requirements :

- Skills: PostgreSQL, NoSQL, MongoDB or relevant DB.

- Familiarity with AWS, Docker, or other deployment environments.

- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.

- Troubleshoot production issues and support deployment cycles.

- Perform code reviews, manage repositories, ensure adherence to standards, and debug complex problems.

Soft Skills :

- Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - not pasting AI code.

- Proficiency in relevant programming languages, databases, and development tools.

- Strong teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

- Self-motivated with an ownership mindset.
