Role Overview:

NR Consulting is looking for a skilled and motivated Java Software Engineer to join our technology team in Noida.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Java backend development, Spring Boot, REST APIs, databases, and scalable application development.

The role requires a professional who can design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications while working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and business-driven technology solutions for internal and client-facing projects.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based software applications and backend systems.

- Design and build RESTful APIs, backend services, business logic components, and enterprise integrations.

- Work with Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA, and related backend technologies.

- Write clean, efficient, reusable, secure, and well-documented code.

- Participate in requirement analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support activities.

- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues across development, testing, staging, and production environments.

- Work with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.

- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, project managers, business teams, and other stakeholders.

- Ensure application performance, scalability, security, maintainability, and reliability.

- Follow coding standards, version control practices, software development lifecycle processes, and engineering best practices.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes and delivery standards.

- Support integration with third-party systems, APIs, enterprise platforms, and internal applications as required.

- Contribute to automation initiatives, process improvements, and scalable technology delivery within NR Consultings technology ecosystem.

Required Skills :

- Strong hands-on experience in Core Java and Java 8 or above.

- Good experience with Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and Microservices.

- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

- Experience with Hibernate, JPA, or similar ORM frameworks.

- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database concepts.

- Experience with Git, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, or similar development tools.

- Ability to write unit tests using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks.

- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodology.

- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative and fast-paced team environment.

- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices.

- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, or ActiveMQ.

- Experience with MongoDB, Redis, or other NoSQL databases.

- Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.

- Experience in building enterprise-grade, scalable, and high-performance applications.

- Exposure to staffing technology platforms, workforce management systems, enterprise business applications, or automation tools will be an added advantage.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
