Role : Software Engineer - Java (Apache Flink / Apache Beam)

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java and stream processing frameworks like Apache Flink or Apache Beam.

The role involves building scalable, real-time data processing systems and working on high-throughput distributed architectures.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop real-time data processing pipelines using Apache Flink and/or Apache Beam

- Build and maintain scalable backend services using Java (8+)

- Work with streaming platforms like Kafka for data ingestion and processing

- Implement event-driven architectures with strong fault tolerance and scalability

- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for system integrations

- Ensure reliability through monitoring, logging, and performance optimization

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for deployment and production support

Required Skills & Experience :

- 5+ years of experience in Java development (Java 8 or above)

- Hands-on experience with Apache Flink and/or Apache Beam

- Strong understanding of stream processing concepts (event time, processing time, windowing, state management, checkpoints)

- Experience with Apache Kafka or similar messaging systems

- Solid knowledge of distributed systems and microservices architecture

- Experience with REST APIs and data serialization formats (Avro, JSON, Protobuf)

- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and build tools (Maven/Gradle)

- Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

- Understanding of monitoring and logging tools

Good to Have :

- Experience with containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Exposure to data engineering pipelines or big data ecosystems

- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization in streaming systems
