About the Role :

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer with strong experience in Java and Spring Boot to develop and enhance financial technology solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into functional, scalable software while contributing across the full software development lifecycle.

The role requires strong hands-on development capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently to identify and resolve technical issues that impact product quality, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, enhance, and maintain financial technology applications and solutions.

- Translate business and technical requirements into functional software solutions.

- Design, develop, test, debug, and deploy high-quality applications.

- Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot.

- Contribute to full-stack development across the SDLC.

- Work on frontend, backend, and UI/UX components as required.

- Participate actively in code reviews and ensure adherence to development best practices.

- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects and performance issues.

- Improve application scalability, reliability, and overall efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.

- Take ownership of assigned development tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.

- Continuously improve existing applications, processes, and development practices.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent relevant work experience.

- 5+ years of relevant software development experience.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.

- Experience developing and integrating APIs.

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

- Strong understanding of databases and data management.

- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.

- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.

- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- AWS Certification preferred.

- Experience working on financial technology - FinTech applications.

- Experience with full-stack development.

- Exposure to application scalability, performance optimization, and cloud-based architectures.
