Job Description :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer II (SSE2) to design, develop, and deliver scalable, high-performance software solutions.

The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in backend or full-stack development, distributed systems, cloud technologies, and modern software engineering practices.

As an SSE2, you will own key features end-to-end, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reliable and scalable products. Responsibilities commonly include feature ownership, code reviews, scalable system design, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable software applications and microservices.

- Build high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code following engineering best practices.

- Own features throughout the software development lifecycle, from design to production deployment.

- Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical design decisions.

- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with internal and third-party services.

- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.

- Write comprehensive unit, integration, and automation tests.

- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards.

- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call support when required.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, QA Engineers, DevOps, and UX teams to deliver business requirements.

- Mentor Software Engineers and support their technical growth.

- Drive continuous improvements in development processes, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering practices.

Required Skills :

- Strong programming experience in Java, Python, C#, Go, or Node.js.

- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, .NET Core, Django, FastAPI, Express.js, or similar frameworks.

- Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Data Structures, and Algorithms.

- Experience designing and developing Microservices Architecture.

- Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API security, and asynchronous messaging.

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis).

- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

- Proficiency with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and software engineering best practices.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures.

- Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging platforms.

- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).

- Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Splunk.

- Understanding of security best practices and secure coding standards.

- Exposure to AI/ML-powered applications or GenAI integration is an added advantage.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 5-8 years of professional software development experience.

- Proven experience building scalable enterprise or SaaS applications.
