Job Description :

We are looking for a Software Engineer - Fluent Commerce OMS with hands-on experience in Fluent Commerce Order Management System (OMS) to design, develop, integrate, and support enterprise-scale order management solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in OMS workflows, REST APIs, enterprise integrations, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, configure, and maintain Fluent Commerce OMS solutions.

- Configure and implement order management workflows, business rules, and system customizations.

- Develop and maintain REST APIs, webhooks, and integration services.

- Build and support integrations between Fluent Commerce OMS and enterprise systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM, payment gateways, loyalty platforms, and eCommerce applications.

- Develop and troubleshoot asynchronous integrations using event-driven architectures where applicable.

- Perform unit testing, debugging, root cause analysis, and production support to ensure system stability.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable OMS solutions.

- Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization.

Required Skills :

- 3 - 8 years of software development experience.

- Minimum 1 - 2 years of hands-on experience with Fluent Commerce OMS.

- Strong understanding of Order Management Systems (OMS) and Distributed Order Management (DOM) concepts.

- Experience developing and consuming REST APIs, JSON, webhooks, and asynchronous integrations.

- Experience integrating OMS with ERP, WMS, payment gateways, CRM, loyalty systems, and eCommerce platforms.

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience in omnichannel retail or eCommerce platforms.

- Exposure to microservices and cloud-native architectures.

- Knowledge of event-driven integration patterns and messaging technologies.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud deployment.

- Experience supporting production environments and incident management.

Education (Mandatory) :

- Full-time B.E./B.Tech, MCA, M.Tech, MS, or M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
