About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled C++ Software Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the development and enhancement of Windows-based software applications.
The role involves designing and implementing reliable software components, debugging application issues, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with C++ and Windows development, along with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming, software design principles, and system-level programming concepts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software applications using C++ for Windows environments.
- Develop robust and maintainable software components using object-oriented programming principles.
- Work with Win32 and MFC frameworks for Windows application development.
- Analyze technical requirements and translate them into efficient software implementations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application-level issues using appropriate development and debugging techniques.
- Implement multi-threaded components and ensure efficient handling of concurrent operations.
- Apply appropriate software design patterns to build scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Work with hardware-connected applications involving industrial equipment, motors, or other physical devices.
- Develop and execute developer-level unit tests to validate functionality, reliability, and code quality.
- Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards and development practices.
- Maintain technical documentation related to implemented features, software components, and testing activities.
Technical Requirements :
- Experience: 3 - 5 years of professional experience in C++ and Windows application development.
- Strong hands-on programming experience in C++ / CPP.
- Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
- Practical experience with Win32 and MFC.
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and multi-threading.
- Understanding of commonly used software design patterns and their practical application.
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and its debugging capabilities.
- Exposure to unit testing and software debugging methodologies.
- Experience working with applications that interact with hardware, equipment, motors, or industrial systems will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with Git, SVN, or other version-control systems.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong focus on software quality.
