Software Development Team Lead - C#/.Net

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Development Team Lead to manage a team of up to 10 software professionals, including architects, engineers, developers, and implementors. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of software solutions for customer projects, as well as the ongoing development of our future engineered products. This position requires a blend of technical leadership, project execution, and mentoring capabilities.

Education : Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field

Location : Bangalore (hybrid)

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead software project execution from design to deployment across multiple initiatives.

- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

- Maintain software quality standards through best practices, peer reviews, and agile methodologies.

- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and deliverables.

- Drive system design, development, unit testing, and documentation for new and existing software solutions.

- Oversee software implementation at client project sites.

- Provide accurate estimations for software development and implementation efforts.

- Participate in recruitment, performance reviews, and team development initiatives.

- Prepare and deliver reports, manuals, and project documentation.

- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and annual reviews with team members.

- Actively contribute to solution designs, peer code reviews, and release deployments.

Required Qualifications :

- 7+ years of professional experience in software development.

- Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.

- Willingness to travel 2025% to project sites for implementation and support.

Technical Skills & Core Competencies :

- Proficient in Microsoft .NET (v4.0+) and C#.

- Strong knowledge of WCF, WPF, WF, LINQ, and Entity Framework.

- Deep understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented architecture.

- Experience in multithreading, performance optimization, and debugging.

- Strong command of source control and CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and deployment tools.

- Effective communicator with strong organizational and leadership skills.

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with ASP.NET, MVC3, JavaScript, AJAX, and CSS.

- Familiarity with relational databases, SQL, and ORM tools.

- Exposure to Microsoft Lync, Slack, and user interface design.
