Software Development Manager - .Net/Javascript

Key Responsibilities :

The role involves managing a team of developers, setting goals and strategy, ensuring best practices, and overseeing the full SDLC including maintenance, upgrades, and integrations of internal applications.

- Expertise across front-end and back-end technologies.

- Lead and mentor a team of developers (custom and enterprise systems).

- Set goals, evaluate performance, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.

- Oversee front-end and back-end development, database architecture, and API integrations.

- Ensure adherence to coding, security, and DevOps best practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for feature implementation.

- Manage deployments, release cycles, and documentation.

- Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and optimized for web and mobile platforms.

- Lead and manage a development team across enterprise and custom software solutions.

- Define and track team goals, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables.

- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering continuous growth and collaboration.

- Oversee performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and implement improvement strategies.

- Ensure compliance with development best practices, ITIL standards, and secure coding principles.

- Architect and maintain front-end and back-end systems, optimizing for web and mobile platforms.

- Design and manage efficient database structures and integrate third-party APIs.

- Drive reporting strategy, including backend data repository setup and front-end reporting tools.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver product features and functionality.

- Write, test, and debug efficient and reusable code across projects.

- Enforce security, data protection, scalability, and performance optimization.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply best practices in development.

- Review and validate code quality, ensuring adherence to coding standards.

- Document technical solutions and create user guides and manuals.

- Ensure compliance with KDDs Health, Safety, and Environmental policies.

- Execute directives from management as required.

Technical Skills :

- Experience with Angular, Node.js, ASP.NET, MVC, WebForms, SignalR, and Power BI.

- Proficient with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and PL/SQL.

- Familiar with Oracle Cloud (OCI, APEX), IBM Maximo (7.6 and MAS 8), and integration frameworks.

- Hands-on with DevOps tools (Docker, Git, Kubernetes, AWS).

- Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD pipelines, Entity Framework, and dependency injection.

- Exposure to Oracle EBS, WebLogic, Microsoft Power Platform, and machine learning (preferred).
