Role Overview :
As an SDET, you will be a crucial part of our agile development team, working closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products. Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and executing automated tests, analyzing test results, and identifying and reporting defects. You will contribute directly to delivering high-quality software that meets the needs of our users and drives positive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable automated test scripts using Selenium, Python, and Java for our web applications, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement, providing timely feedback to the development team.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and design effective test strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and infrastructure, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and testability, fostering a culture of quality within the team.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrated ability to design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium with Python or Java.
- Proven experience in writing and executing automated tests for web applications, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies, including test-driven development and behavior-driven development.
- Proficiency in using testing frameworks such as JUnit.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurgaon/Gurugram.
