Software Development Engineer - Test - Selenium/API Testing

Job Description

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer with strong experience in API testing, Selenium automation using C#, .NET backend testing, and familiarity with Boomi (preferred).

Key Responsibilities :

- Test Planning & Strategy

- Understand business and functional requirements to create comprehensive test plans, test scenarios, and test cases.

- Define QA strategies for backend, API, and UI layers to ensure complete coverage.

- Identify test data needs and manage test environments for smooth execution.

- Automation & Functional Testing

- Develop and maintain Selenium automation frameworks using C#.

- Perform test automation for web applications, backend components, and integration points.

- Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, RestSharp, Swagger, or similar frameworks.

- Validate .NET backend logic, services, and workflows through manual and automation testing.

- Maintain reusable automation scripts for regression and continuous testing.

- API & Integration Testing

- Design and execute test scenarios for REST/SOAP APIs, including validation, response handling, headers, authentication, and error scenarios.

- Participate in end-to-end integration testing involving internal and external systems.

- Boomi integration testing experience is preferred-working with process flows, APIs, and data

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5-9 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (mandatory 5+ years).

- Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver automation using C#.

- Good understanding of .NET backend services and ability to validate backend logic.

- Proficiency in API Testing (Postman, Swagger, RestSharp, SoapUI, etc.).

- Familiarity with Boomi integration testing (preferred).

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

- Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies.
