Position Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Python SDET with Networking expertise to join our QA and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills in Python, a solid understanding of networking concepts, and hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks. You will be responsible for building and maintaining test automation, validating backend services, and testing network-based applications to ensure robust and high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.

- Create and execute test plans and test cases for APIs, backend services, and network-based features.

- Validate software functionality and ensure end-to-end quality of releases.

- Perform API testing (REST) using tools such as Postman.

- Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to resolve issues quickly.

- Identify bugs, perform root cause analysis, and verify fixes.

- Simulate and troubleshoot different network conditions in test environments.

- Support CI/CD pipelines and automation in test workflows.

Required Skills :

- Strong Python programming skills (OOPs, scripting, automation).

- Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (Pytest, Robot Framework).

- Good understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP, firewalls).

- Proficiency in API testing and validation tools (REST, Postman).

- Experience with Linux/Unix systems and command-line utilities.

- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Experience in network automation or testing network appliances.

- Exposure to CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
