SDET - Mobile

Role Overview :

As an SDET - Mobile, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile applications.

Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts, analyzing test results, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects.

You'll work within an agile environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Your work directly impacts the user experience by ensuring our mobile apps are robust, performant, and meet the highest quality standards, ultimately driving customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop robust and scalable automation test scripts using Appium and Java for both Android and iOS platforms to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results to identify defects and areas for improvement, ensuring timely resolution.

- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test strategies and test cases, facilitating a smooth development process.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and frameworks by researching and implementing new tools and techniques, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our testing efforts.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability, fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

Required Skillset :

- Proven ability to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for mobile applications using Appium and Java.

- Strong understanding of mobile testing methodologies, tools, and best practices, including experience with different testing frameworks and approaches.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex issues in mobile applications.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly and concisely.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment, adapting to changing priorities and requirements.
