Software Development Engineer - Test - Java/Selenium

We are looking for a skilled and passionate SDET to join our QA automation team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Java, test automation using Selenium, and API testing using Rest Assured.

You will be responsible for building robust automated test frameworks and ensuring the quality of web and backend services.

Job Location : Bangalore.

Experience : 5 to 10 years.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for UI and API testing.

- Create and execute test cases using Selenium WebDriver and TestNG/JUnit.

- Perform API testing using Rest Assured or similar libraries.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to understand requirements and ensure test coverage.

- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of quality.

- Monitor, debug, and fix issues found in automated tests.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins/GitHub Actions).

Technical Skills :

- Automation Tools : Selenium WebDriver, TestNG or JUnit.

- API Testing : Rest Assured, Postman (nice to have).

- Build Tools : Maven or Gradle.

- Version Control : Git, GitHub/GitLab.

- CI/CD : Jenkins, GitHub Actions (or similar).

- Frameworks : Page Object Model (POM), Data-driven Testing.

- Bug Tracking Tools : JIRA or similar.

- Databases : Basic SQL knowledge.

- Operating Systems : Windows, Linux.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
