Software Development Engineer - Test II - Automation Testing

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks using Java.

- Write automated tests for Android and iOS applications using Appium and TestNG/JUnit.

- Perform end-to-end testing across mobile, web, and API layers.

- Design and execute performance tests using tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.

- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers in an Agile environment.

- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated test execution (Jenkins/GitLab).

- Log detailed bugs, triage defects, and assist with root cause analysis.

- Participate in code reviews and continuously advocate for testability, quality, and best engineering practices.

Requirements :

- 4-8 years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation.

- Strong hands-on experience with Java and related testing frameworks (TestNG/JUnit).

- Proven experience using Appium for mobile test automation (Android and/or iOS).

- Solid understanding of performance testing tools like JMeter, Gatling, or Locust.

- Experience with REST API testing using tools like Postman or RestAssured.

- Familiarity with build and CI tools such as Jenkins, Gradle, Maven, or GitLab CI.

- Working knowledge of BDD (Cucumber) is a plus.

- Good understanding of Agile methodologies, bug tracking (JIRA), and test management tools.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
