Role Purpose :


The Software Development Engineer in Test II (SDET II) will focus on ensuring the quality and performance of highly scalable web and backend applications.


- In this role, you will design and implement automated tests for web (Playwright/Selenium) and API-based solutions, leveraging your knowledge of Java or JavaScript.

- Collaborating closely with development and product teams, you will ensure products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

- Youll have an opportunity to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment while exploring new tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities :


- Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts for web and API testing using Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

- Design and implement test strategies, test cases, and plans based on technical and business. requirements.

- Automate API testing to validate performance and functionality.

- Perform regression testing and identify bugs through systematic and exploratory testing.

- Collaborate with developers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficient issue resolution.

- Continuously improve test automation processes, tools, and techniques.

Experience and Qualifications :


- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience in test automation for web and API applications.

- Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages.

- Hands-on experience with web testing frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent tools.

- Experience with API automation tools (e.g., Postman, REST-assured) and a good understanding of REST APIs.

- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
