Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in test automation, framework design, and API testing, with a solid background in tools such as Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, Postman, and Rest Assured. This role demands strong technical proficiency, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to mentor junior testers.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.

- Extend the framework's functionality by designing and implementing new components/modules based on evolving project needs.

- Develop clean, modular, and reusable Selenium scripts using industry-standard best practices.

- Refactor and optimize existing scripts for improved performance and readability.

- Perform thorough API testing using tools like Rest Assured and Postman.

- Enhance the existing automation framework to reduce manual effort and boost productivity across teams.

- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Maven, etc.

- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA analysts to ensure full test coverage and defect resolution.

- Drive continuous improvement in QA practices, test coverage, and automation processes.

- Mentor and support QA team members by sharing best practices and guiding automation tasks to streamline regression cycles.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute actively to sprint activities.

- Maintain basic familiarity with DevOps concepts and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience:

- 5+ years of hands-on experience as an SDET or Senior Automation Engineer

- Strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber

- API Testing with Postman and Rest Assured

- Experience in integrating tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, build tools like Maven

- Proficiency in Java programming for writing automation scripts

- Good understanding of QA processes, Agile methodologies, and DevOps basics

- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Good to Have :

- Experience in performance testing or mobile automation

- Exposure to cloud-based automation frameworks or containers (Docker, Kubernetes)

- Knowledge of version control tools like Git
