SDET Test Automation

We are looking for an experienced SDET / Test Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Python, PyTest and System Testing to work on complex macOS-based workloads, file protocols and distributed storage systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python & PyTest.

- Automate NFS & SMB workflows and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.

- Design test scenarios covering file operations, concurrency, failover, recovery and reconnect scenarios.

- Debug low-level system issues using logs, traces and packet captures.

- Analyze code coverage and build targeted regression tests.

- Improve test stability and eliminate flaky tests.

- Work across macOS clients, Linux/Unix, servers, networks and storage systems.

Must-Have Skills :

- 5 - 10 years of experience in SDET / Software Engineering / System Test Automation.

- Strong Python programming and hands-on PyTest framework experience.

- Strong understanding of macOS and Linux/Unix.

- Experience with File Systems, TCP/IP, Client-Server Architecture and Storage Systems.

- Practical knowledge of NFS & SMB, permissions, authentication and file locking.

- Strong debugging skills using system utilities, packet captures, traces, core dumps and log analysis.

- Experience with Git, CI/CD, code reviews, defect tracking and code-coverage analysis.
