Role Overview:
As an SDET, you will be at the forefront of engineering excellence, designing and implementing robust automation frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work in close collaboration with cross-functional product, engineering, and data science teams to bridge the gap between development and quality assurance. By leveraging cutting-edge technologies, you will directly influence the reliability and scalability of our platforms, ensuring that our end-users experience seamless, high-performance digital solutions that drive significant business value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Java and Python to accelerate release cycles and improve overall product stability.
- Develop comprehensive test suites for complex API and database layers to ensure data integrity and backend performance for our global client base.
- Integrate Generative AI and LLM-based testing strategies to automate test case generation and identify edge cases that traditional methods might overlook.
- Collaborate with developers during the design phase to advocate for testability, reducing technical debt and enhancing the long-term maintainability of the codebase.
- Analyze test results and performance metrics to provide actionable insights to stakeholders, directly impacting the speed and quality of feature deployments.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated proficiency in building end-to-end automation frameworks using Selenium, TestNG, and Playwright to support modern web and mobile applications.
- Strong programming expertise in Java and Python, with the ability to write clean, modular, and reusable code for complex testing scenarios.
- Proven ability to perform deep-dive API and database testing, ensuring seamless integration and data consistency across distributed systems.
- Familiarity with the integration of LLMs and Generative AI tools to enhance testing workflows and predictive quality analysis.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate technical challenges to non-technical stakeholders and foster a culture of quality across engineering teams.
- Ability to thrive in a remote-first or distributed work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to manage deliverables independently across multiple locations.
- A Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, combined with 3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in software testing and development.
