Role Overview :
As a Lead SDET, you will spearhead the evolution of our quality engineering ecosystem, bridging the gap between development and operations to ensure the delivery of high-performance, scalable software.
You will operate at the intersection of architecture and automation, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders to define testing strategies that align with business goals.
Your day-to-day will involve designing robust automation frameworks, mentoring high-performing QA engineers, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
By championing quality-first engineering, you will directly impact the end-user experience, ensuring that our products remain resilient, secure, and performant in a fast-paced, competitive market.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the integration of performance testing into the CI/CD pipeline to proactively identify bottlenecks and ensure system stability under high load.
- Mentor and guide a team of QA engineers, fostering technical excellence and best practices in test-driven development to elevate the overall quality bar.
- Collaborate with DevOps and development teams to streamline deployment processes, ensuring seamless integration and high-availability across environments.
- Evaluate and adopt modern testing tools like Playwright, Cypress, and Jest to optimize test coverage and execution speed for complex web and mobile applications.
Required Skillset :
- Proven ability to design and execute performance testing strategies that provide actionable insights into application scalability and reliability.
- Strong proficiency in CI/CD orchestration and DevOps practices, enabling automated testing within complex, distributed cloud environments.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical quality strategies to non-technical stakeholders and influence cross-functional team decisions.
- High degree of adaptability and self-motivation, with a track record of thriving in remote or distributed team environments while maintaining high standards of accountability.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 6 to 13 years of hands-on experience in software development and quality engineering.
