We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled SDET Engineer to join our Quality Engineering team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks while ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of enterprise applications.

This role requires strong expertise in test automation, API testing, CI/CD integration, and modern software development practices.

As an SDET Engineer, you will work closely with developers, architects, product managers, and DevOps teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle and drive engineering excellence through automation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web, API, database, and integration testing.

- Create reusable test components, libraries, and utilities to improve automation efficiency.

- Develop and execute automated test suites for functional, regression, smoke, integration, and end-to-end testing.

- Build scalable test automation solutions aligned with engineering and product requirements.

- Participate in architecture reviews and provide quality engineering recommendations.

- Collaborate with development teams to ensure testability and improve software quality.

- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing practices.

- Analyze test results, identify defects, and perform root cause analysis.

- Support performance, reliability, and security testing initiatives.

- Establish testing standards, best practices, and automation strategies across teams.

- Monitor quality metrics and continuously improve test coverage and execution efficiency.

- Mentor junior QA and automation engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills:

- Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or Appium.

- Experience in API automation using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.

- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and quality engineering principles.

- Experience with BDD/TDD frameworks such as Cucumber or TestNG.

- Proficiency in SQL and database validation techniques.

- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.

- Experience working with version control systems such as Git.

- Knowledge of microservices architecture and distributed systems.

- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

- Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter, Gatling, or K6.

- Understanding of security testing concepts and practices.

- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

- 812 years of experience in Software Testing, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering.

- Demonstrated experience building automation frameworks and leading testing initiatives for enterprise-scale applications.
