Role Overview :
As an SDET, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge software solutions. Your day-to-day will involve designing, developing, and executing automated tests, collaborating closely with developers and product managers to identify and resolve defects early in the development lifecycle.
You'll work within agile teams, contributing to sprint planning, test strategy, and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines. Your efforts will directly impact the end-user experience, ensuring our customers receive high-quality, robust software that meets their needs and drives business success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design and implement comprehensive test automation frameworks to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, performance, and security testing to ensure software meets specified requirements.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to analyze requirements, identify potential defects, and ensure testability of new features.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops.
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and work with development teams to resolve issues promptly.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of test data and test environments to ensure accurate and reliable testing.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and automation to continuously improve testing processes.
Required Skillset :
- Demonstrates proficiency in designing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Exhibits strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Possesses a solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and the software development lifecycle.
- Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, articulating complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
